Frequently asked questions

How do I set a wallpaper?

Tap Save 4K Wallpaper. Then open the Photos app, open the saved image, tap Share › Use as Wallpaper, and choose Lock Screen, Home Screen or both. iOS doesn’t allow apps to change your wallpaper directly.

Can my wallpaper change automatically every day?

Yes. In the Shortcuts app go to Automation › + › Time of Day, pick a time, choose Daily and Run Immediately. Add the action Get Today’s Wallpaper (Rise 4K), then Set Wallpaper Photo, and turn off Show Preview.

How do I add the Daily Quote widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, search for Rise 4K and choose a size. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize › Lock Screen and add Rise 4K.

What resolution are the wallpapers?

Every wallpaper is exported at 2160 × 4680 pixels, which is higher than 4K and shaped for iPhone screens.

The app says it can’t save to Photos.

Open Settings › Rise 4K › Photos and choose Add Photos Only.

I’m not getting the daily reminder.

Check that the reminder is on in Rise 4K › Settings, and that notifications are allowed in Settings › Notifications › Rise 4K. Opening the app every week or two keeps reminders scheduled.

How do I restore Rise Pro on a new iPhone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Rise 4K, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Rise Pro and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does Rise 4K collect my data?

No. There’s no account, no ads and no tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
